The company has setup a production plant with an installed capacity of 50,000 inits/year at Chakan near Pune. The bikemaker aims to sell 10,000 units in the first year of its Indian operations. Initially, the company plans to launch at least 100 charging stations in Delhi, Pune and Bengaluru. In the second phase, it will arrive in Hyderabad and Mumbai.

Tork Motorcycles, the Pune-based startup, has announced the price of India’s first indigenously designed and developed electric motorcycle – Tork T6X – on 30thSeptember at an event in Bengaluru. 



Priced at Rs 1.25 lakh, the T6X eletric bike has received over 1,000 pre-bookings within 24 hours of its unveiling. Since the bike is still under homologation process, its deliveries will be commenced by next year only. The Tork T6X electric bike is the fifth prototype of the company.
Besides the T6X, the bikemaker also plans to introduce multiple electric motorcycles from stylish urban commuters to race-winning machines.
